We’re excited to offer our NEW BOSS Track & Trail Program with Coach Christian!
Program Description:
Our objective is to provide a community for runners of all ages and training experience and to offer science based, community centered, teamwork driven, strength, endurance, and speed training. The hope is to create a team-feel environment, prioritizing the support of one another, consistent progress, and the education of conditioning principles.
Training is designed and supervised by a S&C Specialist from Boss Sports Performance. The volume and intensity of daily workouts will always be scalable to the performance goals of beginner, intermediate, advanced, and elite runners. Running and strength training will be available year round, following a general progression over a 12 week cycle - including intentional “down” weeks every 4th week with lower intensity and volume to avoid over training and allow for recovery and regenerative processes.
Weekly Structure:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY @7am: COCC track, local trail, or park (location subject to weather conditions)
We will briefly discuss the day’s training focus, warm up together with a job, dynamic mobility, and running drills, partner or group up, then get straight to the workout!
TUESDAY AND THURSDAY @7am: Boss Sports Performance main facility
We will focus on running specific strength and training after a brief dynamic warm up and mobility
