Bethany, a Mountain View High School graduate, competed in softball and volleyball in high school and went on to continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level. She graduated from Corban University with a degree in Human Performance, with an emphasis in Exercise Science. While at Corban, Bethany was very privileged to intern at one of the top sports performance gyms in Salem, OR. under some of the top coaches, gaining a wealth of practical training knowledge. Bethany is also a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Immediately after graduating, she went on to Alaska to join the volleyball coaching staff at the University of Alaska Fairbanks as an assistant coach and primary strength and conditioning coach. Following her time at UAF, Bethany continued coaching and training at Lake Superior State University in Michigan.
Following her coaching career, Bethany managed and taught fitness classes at a yoga, circuit, and cycling fitness studio in North Carolina. While there, she started the studio’s first ever, middle school and high school summer training program, and was influential in expanding the studio’s class schedule and clientele.
Bethany is very excited to be back in her hometown working with athletes and sharing her passion and knowledge with everyone at BSP.
