We have poured incredible amounts of time and effort into developing this program designed specifically for current 8th grade football players. Our goal is to equip these boys with the tools they need to be safe and successful not only in the weight room but on the field as well.

A high school football weight room in the summertime can be a special place. It’s where championship football teams are built, and where the culture and heartbeat of that team are cultivated! It’s the cherry on top after a very long winter and spring filled with grueling 6am workouts.

On the other hand, it can also be an extremely intimidating place for a soon to be 9th grader with enormous aspirations of “fitting in” as well as standing out.

In order to put these boys into a position where they can step into the weight room this summer with new found confidence, we will spend the necessary time on the front end to actually TEACH, rep, and then eventually master all the basic and fundamental movement patterns of weight lifting. With a heavy emphasis on form, technique, posture, positioning, breathing, bracing and more our goal is to build a solid foundation of strength and conditioning during the spring that will allow to the boys to not only handle the load this summer but to thrive!
